Enable home/always show onboarding (or if you're post AB test being installed, meaning those switches are no longer available in dev settings, you can do a fresh install until you get assigned group B (home) and go through onboarding)
In the search bar in onboarding, type in The Macomber Affair and select it (or any other italicized article that you may desire)
Go to the next page
On the What Would You Like To See First page, make sure you do not see the mark up, but you do see the italicized title

@GOlson-WMF I can't see the Macomber Affair when I select it from the interest selection screen in the feed preference screen, but based off what you showed me in Slack it looks right. however, now I'm noticing that the italicization is not rendering on the interest selection screen, which I know wasn't part of this ticket, but can we make sure it's applied there too?

also-- it looks like the implementation may have broken something on the feed preference screen -- i can no longer see the bottom border of the first card in the "for you" section:

can you please fix?

Go through onboarding of Group B (fresh install until assigned new onboarding)
Select titles that are italicized (I search "the" and select a bunch)
Ensure you see them properly once selected
When you go to the next screen, make sure you see italics, and make sure it doesn't clip through the card
