Background
The Serbian Wikipedia community has approved the local implementation and use of the CampaignEvents extension and its tools, including Event Registration, Collaboration List, and Invitation List.
The community also approved the localization of the Event namespace and a local procedure for granting and removing the event-organizer user group.

The voting period ended on 12 August 2026 at 23:59 CEST. Each of the three proposals received 4 support votes, 0 oppose votes, and 0 abstentions.
(in the meantime) The CampaignEvents extension is already active on Serbian Wikipedia, so this is not a request to deploy or enable the extension itself. This task requests the implementation of the additional technical changes approved by the community.
Requested changes
1. Serbian localization of the Event namespace
Please add the following Serbian namespace names for CampaignEvents:
Event (namespace 1728): Догађај
Event talk (namespace 1729): Разговор о догађају
The canonical English namespace names “Event” and “Event talk” should remain functional as aliases so that existing links and pages continue to work.
Expected result:
Догађај: becomes the displayed Serbian name of the Event namespace.
Разговор о догађају: becomes the displayed Serbian name of the corresponding talk namespace.
Event: and Event talk: continue to work as technical aliases.
2. Management of the event-organizer user group
The community approved that the event-organizer user group may be granted and removed by both administrators and bureaucrats, following a reasoned request submitted on the local administrators’ noticeboard.
Currently, administrators (sysops) on srwiki can add and remove the event-organizer group, but bureaucrats do not have this technical ability.
Please update the srwiki user-group configuration so that both of the following local groups can add and remove the event-organizer group:
sysop
bureaucrat
Existing permissions for administrators should remain unchanged.
