Users adding data with values in those languages would not be so badly impeded in their work. It is not clear if the delay is procedural or technical (or both), but the request is routine and likely to be repeated. Please investigate whether it can be expedited in future.

I opened T427742 "Please add the language code 'yag' to the list of language codes supported for monolingual text values" on 31 May this year. It was resolved today 2 September - one quarter of a year later (and has not yet deployed on Wikidata).
