After upgrading WikibaseLexeme from version 1.7.3 of api-testing to 1.8.0, we are no longer able to run our cypress tests. They fail complaining that the fs.readFileSync function is undefined.

I think this is because the new open-api validation code expects to run in a node environment, whereas the rest of the code was agnostic until now.

Can the node dependency be made environment-dependent so that we can continue to use api-testing in our browser testing?
