Retrieve the OAuth private abuse filter to determine which permission is required?
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

I'd like to retrieve private filters using Oauht, but unfortunately I can't find any information on what permissions I need to set to do that.

What permission is required to do this?

Event Timeline

Your OAuth consumer must have viewrestrictedlogs grant (see https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:ListGrants).

Note grants can not be changed after a consumer is created. If you already have a consumer you need to create a new one.

Dragoniez subscribed.

To view private filters you need the abusefilter-view-private permission, so the required grant is viewrestrictedlogs, as Bugreporter mentioned.
Note that protected filters cannot be accessed until I216e45 lands. To access suppressed filters you need viewsuppressed and this is assigned to the oversight grant.

Closing this as invalid since private filters can be accessed via OAuth.
