Project description:
Proto is a deliberation tool for the Wikimedia community, running on Toolforge. It helps
editors constructively prepare a complex decision: participants submit and vote on short
statements, the tool clusters opinion to surface where agreement and disagreement actually
lie, a curated set of statements is then argued over in writing, and participants vote a
second time having read those arguments. It builds on Polis, with its own frontend and an
added argument-mapping and informed-voting stage.
Participants act under a pseudonym, and may optionally and permanently link their Wikimedia
username afterwards. The interface strings offered for translation are the tool's own UI;
participant-authored content (statements, arguments, consultation titles) is never translated.
561 messages, all in v2/i18n/en.json, source language English. Holding back messages that are active work in progress.
I'm using nl as a test to verify that the strings are clear and translatable - can we include those as a seed ?
