As part of World of Wikipedia attribution exploration (T437867), we want to convey how the knowledge behind the cards is alive. This ticket proposes to surface when an article has recent updates, providing a reason for users to access the Wikipedia article from a card.
For example, a user can see that a recent card they collected includes a mark/badge/etc. informing the article was updated recently (in the last week?), the user can easily access the article (ideally, going directly to the updated part/sectin) to learn from the recent information added to the article.
This proposal is based on the last update signal. Note that the Trending indicator is not available yet (T433421, T433422).
The exploration needs to consider:
- How to present this signal in a way that they are clear and inviting.
- How to handle the transition to the article (e.g., highlighting relevant parts of the content, etc.)
This can be surfaced in several of the contexts where cards are displayed as a list and/or individually. Soem of these contexts are illustrated below:
| User collection | After-game results | Card view | Card back |
