Allow CIDR range querying with the /temporaryaccount/ip/ REST endpoint
Closed, DeclinedPublicFeature

Description

Special:IPContributions lets you view contributions over a CIDR range. There is no "smart" (i.e. not spamming the TAIV logs) way to get all TAs on a CIDR range. A endpoint to get all contributions from all TAs on a CIDR range would also be nice.

Of course, the largest CIDR range would be /16, like Special:IPContributions, to prevent fishing.

The Temporary accounts REST API endpoints are unstable and not intended to be called directly. They are intended only to be called using the "Show IP" button provided by the IP reveal feature. This is documented as such on Special:RestSandbox

Given that, I don't think Product Safety and Integrity will be supporting this in the REST API.

Why do you need to use the REST API instead of using Special:IPContributions?

I'm trying to make a tool that lets you view all TA contributions from an ASN's assigned ranges, and I really don't want to scrape Special:IPContributions to do this, which is why I'm looking for an API that lets users with TAIV access this data.
