WikibaseQualityConstraints wdio/cypress tests fail
Open, HighPublic

Description

Failed twice in a row: https://integration.wikimedia.org/ci/job/quibble-vendor-mysql-php83-selenium/86438/
Unsure if this is due to particular CI setup in WikibaseMediaInfo or if it's a more general issue with WikibaseQualityConstraints selenium tests.

Event Timeline

Tentatively triaging as high because it breaks CI on unrelated projects.

https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/extensions/WikibaseQualityConstraints/+/1341601 failed with the same error so suspecting something specific to WikibaseQualityConstraints.

Let’s see if that helps (I think the Cypress cache might have gotten corrupted once or twice before; compare also T295351).

I see it affecting CI on the main Wikibase repo as well.

Could this be related?

Allow-scripts didn't seem to help. But I see a second issue,

13:48:09 INFO:quibble.commands:>>> Start: npm install in 'mediawiki/extensions/WikibaseQualityConstraints'

Fixed for me, thanks for the quick fix!

I'm seeing WikibaseQualityConstraints-related issues in https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/mediawiki/extensions/Wikibase/+/1342052 as well. Was WikibaseQualityConstraints recently added to gated-extensions or something?

Change #1341846 abandoned by Awight:

[mediawiki/extensions/WikibaseQualityConstraints@master] Try to fix CI with allow-scripts

Reason:

not the fix.

@cscott was that a wdio-related issue? Or can we consider the wdio issue reported in the ticket to be resolved?
