User Story
- As an iOS app user
- I want to tailor my reading list recommendations by choosing the types of recommendations I receive from Wikipedia
- So that I can choose between receiving a collection of articles based on specific interests I select, or in the app choosing for me based on my reading history
Where in the flow: After a user has tapped on the Discover promotion action button ‘Enable Discover collection’, they should be taken to this onboarding screen allowing them to select between two options: ‘Let me choose based on my interests’ and ‘Choose for me based on my reading history’.
Acceptance criteria
- The user should be able to dismiss the Discover onboarding screen by tapping on the ‘X’ at the top of the screen
- The screen should feature a question: ‘How should we build your recommended collection?’
- Underneath the question, we feature two button options stacked on top of each other: Button 1: ‘Let me choose based on my interests’ and then Button 2: ‘Choose for me based on my reading history’
- Button 1 is highlighted as pre-selected, meaning if the user taps the arrow -> button to the next screen we continue their onboarding by taking them to the Discover ‘Interests’ selection screen (see US-3)
- If a user taps on Button 1, they should be taken to the Discover ‘Interests’ selection screen (see US-3)
- If a user taps on Button 2, we set up their Discover recommendations based on their reading history and they are taken straight to the push notification opt-in prompt (see US-4)
