Today one fragment in one language goes through a chain of at least six Function calls, plus a fetch of the configuration, before the language-specific Function runs. For "defining role sentence" in English, this is Z37011 → Z37464 → Z28016 → Z34039 → Z14310 (with a fetch of Z28020) → Z28026. We measure the calls, fetches and time for each fragment, so that the decision on the storage of the link can compare options on server load with numbers, not estimates.

Acceptance criteria

• The number of Function calls, object fetches and the time for one uncached fragment are published on this task, for at least two languages.
• The measurement method is written down, so that we can repeat it for a new design.
