I think will be good idea to replace underscores with spaces in file names when displaying media properties values.

This seems to be fixed. I see spaces, no underscores. Example: [[w:d:Q9351]]. But there are plus signs in the commons link where underscores should be (only in my local wiki at the moment, not at Wikidata at the moment). This is probably related to this bug and bug 49186 but an other issue.

Should we close this one and open a new one for the plus signs?

No I just tried and you can still save things like New_York_Pokemon_D_and_P_Launch_Party_3.jpg. Underscores are shown after save.
