[mediawiki.feedback.js] Feedback should follow redirect
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I tried to edit MediaWiki:Visualeditor-feedback-link on zhwp but it doesn't affect the feedback target page at all. Is that even the correct message to change?

I then turn the target page into a redirect, but feedback are still sent to that page without following the redirect.

change?

Yes, that is the correct message; you can set it for all zh-hans or zh-hant projects at [0] and [1] and it will respect it (once the software is updated).

[0] - https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:Translate&language=zh-hans&group=ext-visualeditor
[1] - https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Special:Translate&language=zh-hant&group=ext-visualeditor

You're right; this is a bug in the feedback tool, which is part of MediaWiki core. Moving the bug there.

Column Prototype
This is a very early prototype of a persistent column. It is not expected to work yet, and leaving it open will activate other new features which will break things. Press "\" (backslash) on your keyboard to close it now.
