VisualEditor: Link inspector ignores typed text if user presses [enter] too quickly, explodes with new links
Closed, ResolvedPublic

The link inspector ignores the text entered when the user does not wait for the "matching page" results to appear (Chrome/Ubuntu) before pressing "enter". If the user is adding a completely new link, the selection appears offscreen and we get a JavaScript error:

Uncaught Error: No class registered by that name: undefined

This behavior is similar to earlier issues such as bug 42278 and bug 49941.

Version: unspecified
Severity: major
