First <nowiki> block is caused because the user inserted whitespace before the start of the line (not doing this would turn it into a <pre>formatted block). This is not a bug per se (though we should probably just strip leading whitespace instead).

The other two you removed were of the form [[Foo ]]<nowiki/>bar - these will be fixed by bug 37835 - merging into that.
