Description

From #wikimedia-tech

[03:29:46 PM] <legoktm> i just semi-protected a page
[03:29:57 PM] <legoktm> I *did not* touch any of the feedback settings
[03:29:58 PM] <legoktm> but
[03:29:59 PM] <legoktm> (del/undel) 22:28, 28 August 2013 Legoktm (talk | contribs | block) changed visibility of the article feedback tool on "Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood" ‎[articlefeedbackv5=aft-noone] (indefinite) (Persistent sock puppetry) (hist)

Looking through https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&offset=&limit=500&type=articlefeedbackv5&user=&page=&tagfilter= I can tell that many of these are unintentional and just a side effect of protecting.

I even saw:

19:27, 28 August 2013 Mjroots (talk | contribs | block) changed visibility of the article feedback tool on "Palma de Mallorca Airport" ‎[articlefeedbackv5=aft-noone] (indefinite) (Page has been moved twice in three weeks. IMO a proposed move should now be done via WP:RM) (hist)

19:36, 28 August 2013 Mjroots (talk | contribs | block) changed visibility of the article feedback tool on "Palma de Mallorca Airport" ‎[articlefeedbackv5=aft-reader] (indefinite) (no intention to change AFT) (hist)

Using page protection infrastructure as a means of tracking pages that have AFTv5 enabled has... side effects. :-)
