Usability: Move "print version" to footer, next to "last modified" timestamp
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Author: elian

Description:
Change last modified message into something like this:
"Permanent link to revision of 21:07, 28 September 2005 (Print article)" and
include the permalink and the print version there.

Reasoning: not all people understand intuitively what the permalink is for.
Combining last modified and permalink makes clear what people are supposed to do
with the link. Unifying both also removes clutter from the GUI.

With this change, you'll have all the necessary information for citing wikipedia
articles combined at one place: permanent link, timestamp, print version and
also the license conditions.

Version: 1.23.0
Severity: enhancement

This does not make clear enough that the currently shown version is also the latest revision, in my humble opinion.
