Upload of video should also purge audio transcodes
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Steps to reproduce:

Upload audio.ogg
Upload video.ogg as new version

Result:

There is a transcode called "Ogg Vorbis"

Expected behaviour:

Also the audio transcode is purged and therefore wiped.

Note:
This should also apply vice versa but I did not test it. (Upload video first and then audio)

Version: unspecified

Both transcodes exist: Audio and Video transcode

Hmm, that's weired. Right now it seems to be purged but the transcode failed.

See: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Audio.ogg

(If so. clicks on "Reset Transcode", I suspect the transcode to disappear. In this case, please rely on the attachement.)

As expected this also works the other way round:

Current code seems to properly handle this; on reuploading a Theora+Vorbis .ogg over an Opus .ogg I ended up with no unexpected Vorbis transcode.

Stray items will be eventually cleaned up by bot runs.

Yes, confirmed to be working now. Thank you for fixing all the TMH bugs lately, I really appreciate that.
