The HTML generated by SMW is not very semantic; there are lots of span elements and unnecessary tables. I would be happy to help redo the html and css to improve these aspects.
I have edited some local files on my SMW installation (SMW_Factbox.php, SMW_SpecialBrowse.php) as they were the two that I particularly noticed, but could do any others.

In T64114, the SMW maintainers decided to track MediaWiki-extensions-SemanticBundle issues in GitHub at https://github.com/SemanticMediaWiki/SemanticMediaWiki/issues (and not anymore in Wikimedia Bugzilla/Phabricator).
