Steps to reproduce:

  1. Click on the "Edit" button
  2. Insert an image by going to More>Media
  3. Now Place the curser on any line which is aligned with the starting line and ending line of an image
  4. Type a text

5.Select the option "Preformatted" from the heading style menu bar.

Observed result:
The box for preformatted option gets overlapped with the image file

This has been fixed by rMW66ad598b4633: Break words in <pre> and .mw-code when overflowing (2020):

Also make sure that the background of pre elements doesn't run behind
floating elements like infoboxes and images, by introducing a new block
formatting context.
