Support mm/dd/yyyy format for timeline with dates prior to 01/01/1800

Description:
I wish to create a timeline in the mm/dd/yyyy format. My timeline includes a few dates prior to the date 01/01/1800, which I just discovered is not allowed with the current system, per https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:EasyTimeline/syntax#DateFormat. The same is also true for the dd/mm/yyyy format. What can be done to work around this, or change this? Could the date after which these formats can be used be moved back a century or two? Or ideally, could this obstruction be removed altogether, making it possible to use these specific date formats for any period of time? Thanks.

That sounds like a support question for the talk page, but not necessarly like a valid ticket here. However, could be turned into a "support DD and MM before year 1800" enhancement request.

Not supported by the abdandonware upstream library EasyTimeline uses, not going to happen.

As Upstream was for Ploticus... Considering T338098: Port EasyTimeline from Ploticus to DataDraw and that Ploticus is unsupported for 9.5 years, the upstream tag is never going to happen.

This tasks can of course be remedied by other means (ie replacing the library)...

Restoring Upstream tag and unstalling since Ploticus is apparently still being maintained by someone at Debian even if the original maintainers have abandoned it: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/ploticus shows semi-active commit activity,
