In preferences/recent changes, user can set how many records show in recent
change, could you provide also the ability to set the number of days (for how
many last days) to be included in recent change result.

Please *stop* changing the summary from a clearer description of what's
required. If a developer, looking down the list of bugs for something to do,
can't see a clear summary of what's required, he won't add it to his mental list
of, "oooh, I could fix that" - it'll get ignored.
This has been changed several times now. Arguing with developers over what to
call things is a fine way to make friends, I'm sure.
