Possibility to specify who really wrote changes to publish in a protected page
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Work done by non administrator about a protected page is published by administrator. The problem is when we see the page history the one who made the changes is not present. When we cite the article, it's the administrator who will be cited not the one who really writed the article.

It will be nice if the administrator has the possiblite to specify the contributor who made the changes that he will publish. So in page history we see that person who realy made the changes.

What?

I also don't think this is an api bug

It's not a bug. it's request in the they if you want to pull a request you report a bug so what I did. I have choosed API bug because I don't know what to choose.

I believe it's called an "edit summary".

Can be credited using the edit summary, not a good idea to allow users to set someone else as the performer of their edit
