I configured the Jenkins bot to join #wikimedia-corefeatures

While at it:

  • updated the email address for the registered user
  • pointed to chat.freenode.net:7000 with SSL
  • renamed bot to 'wmf-insecte'

The job templates in Jenkins Job Builder should let us finely tune which channels to notify. We can look it up with Zeljkof during some pairing session.

I am not actively working on this. We can potentially fix it up with Zeljkof during a pairing session. Meanwhile, unassigning myself.

Please disregard patch https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/201083 which changes the email notification for the collaboration team whereas this task request to change the IRC notification.

Dropped Continuous-Integration-Config . Will be handled in the Browser-Tests project instead (which is more or less a subset of CI).

Is this still desired by Collaboration? IRC conversation with @SBisson suggests they are actively monitoring tests and further notifications might be overkill/noise.
