If a category has a number of entries which, when divided by 3, leaves a remainder of 1 (such as 31), both of the first 2 columns get their sizes rounded up, leaving 1 too few for the third column - to take the example of 31, it should be divided as 11, 10, 10 (in some order); it ends up as 11,11,9.
