WHICH ONE of the many external links is spam????
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Author: hardy

Description:
The article titled "Contributions to liberal theory"
is uneditable because of the "spam protection filter",
indicating that one of the external links is spam.

The bug is that it does not say WHICH ONE.

(The article has "theorem" misspelled as "theorum".
That is the dumbest misspelling I've ever seen, but
it's not going to be easy to prevent it from remaining
there forever.)

I don't know if this is the right ticket to post that, but I've got exactly the same problem:
The following text is what triggered our spam filter: 4.233.167.104

However there isn't any "4.233.167.104" on Wikibooks:
https://en.wikibooks.org/w/index.php?search=4.233.167.104&title=Special:Search&fulltext=1&searchToken=al6yyv3kg60tcxavus5k2whea

And there is no log to show me which one of the many external links is spam.

To reproduce the bug, you can add "{{printable}}" into https://en.wikibooks.org/w/index.php?title=PHP_Programming/Print_version.
This should display the content of the all the pages which are into https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Category:PHP_Programming

Probably better to file a new task than to reopen one from more than 10 years ago...

Yes, but on the other hand this is the first we can find with this same error, and as it's declined it's useless to read it.

Apart from that, it took me 10 Min by dichotomy to locate among 70 pages that at least one blacklisted URL was on https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/PHP_Programming/SQL_Injection_Attacks.
And it contains 10 links, that I'll have to test by saving another page with them.
So the process should be improved.

Re-closing as there is a line that "The following text is what triggered our spam filter: ....". Which is what this task was about. :)
Please file new tasks for new issues.
