I'm not aware of such metrics on the mediawiki side. We might have UploadWizard stats (although not sure those are still collected), but there are many other ways to upload things.
There's decent information in the databases, but that can't be fed into graphite, right? Each wiki has its own DB anyway.
It's probably not that hard to start tracking that in mediawiki with statsd. What do you need it for? To confirm the swift figures?
@Gilles thanks! yeah that too but also I think the higher level the stats is the better since mediawiki has much more context on what's going on
