I noticed at Wikimedia Commons that there are interfaces strings that can't be translated within the
MediaWiki-Namespace in the actual manner:

At first a interface string itself can't be translated in one example at
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Copyright. Although the german translation exists at
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Copyright/de it does not get displayed if you change your
interface language to German (wihle the other parts of the interface are German).

Then there are several examples where I can't change the link target for a language (but the interface
string itself can be translated):
