Wikipedia. Everytime anybody nominates anything or votes I get
notified in my watchlist. This is inconvenient since I care only about
my submission. And this is just an example.
A while ago Kate Turner implemented a cool feature which allows templates to be
treated like virtual sections. You can see it in action e.g. on
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Featured_article_candidates where each
nomination is loaded from a separate template. Nevertheless, you can use section
editing to edit the individual nominations. You can also watch them separately.
If you have a page where you really want content to be stored and watchable
separately, I would suggest that you model it after this page.
