MMV: Browser window title should not change if image can't be loaded
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

When accessing a url like,

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Godwin#mediaviewer/File:Example.svg

The title changes to:

Example - Mike Godwin - Wikipedia

But nothing actually appears or happens (no http request, no console errors, no user interface). If MMV decides not to initialise it should do nothing, not change the title either.

See also bug 67008.

Mass-removing the Multimedia tag from MediaViewer tasks, as this is now being worked on by the Reading department, not Editing's Multimedia team.

I can't reproduce this today – the browser tab title does not change. (You get a full black screen instead, which is T77327, with a patch pending.)
