Hi,
this should be reported to Wordpress VIP hosting because WMF doesn't really operate the blog anymore.
blog.wikimedia.org is an alias for wikimediablog.wordpress.com.
wikimediablog.wordpress.com is an alias for lb.wordpress.com.

So there's nothing we can do ourselves here. Waiting for 3rd party; setting task status to stalled.
@Tbayer: Any progress here? Do we at least have some sort of bug number so we can tag this https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/upstream/ ?
A quick look around Wordpress.com's website suggests that they have no public bug tracker. I think the only way to get the attention of their engineering staff would be for a WMF employee with access to the Wordpress account to contact their support, since even that is only open to paid account holders (I'm assuming here that the "Wordpress VIP" mentioned earlier is one of their paid services).
Both blog.wikimedia.org and techblog.wikimedia.org are not actively used anymore. Maybe decline?
Resetting task assignee as the user is not active here anymore.
