Would be nice if these were indexed as well.

Do you mean the search in the upper corner? Maniphest's Advanced search allows you to search for them...

can't we teach search to recognize bugzilla numbers, straight from the simple search ?

Oh, there are 2 search engines ? How the hell is anyone supposed to find that ? Even I didn't know it, and i've been using Phab for a while now in various projects...

What are the chances that a user knows that "bz12345" exists, but doesn't know the 2000 trick, and therefore can't enter in the top search bar "T14345"?
