Fonts configuration at extension setup has to be be clarified:

To me this extension appears to need some love in general but that's another story. However, I believe to have recently adjusted the installation instructions in a way that makes it possible to avoid all the pain I had to go through installing it.
To cut it short, I think it is currently not possible to choose another font than ascii. I guess this is even what WMF uses. So this section about fonts should just be removed? Perhaps a WMF developer has some insight on this.
Is there actually someone at WMF dealing with this extension in general or is it just a matter of first come first serve in case of coding issues that need to be rectified? Appears like it.
@Kghbln EasyTimeline is a legacy software from 2004 and it is barely maintained. It will be eventually phased out in favor of using the Graph extension which is way more modern ( T137291 ).
For font configuration, I have looked at fixing the installation for the Chinese wiki on T22825 and it has a bunch of explanation about the font setup. Potentially one can copy paste my writings to the wiki pages.
