I see Cassandra, CouchBase, Riak, HBase, and HyperDex listed on the wiki page.

What was the verdict?

Of those distributed options, Cassandra was the best fit. With now almost two years of experience, I think this decision has been correct.

Of course, Cassandra is not perfect either. Still looking for the unicorn that does it all just right..
