Parameters:

  • Task takes no more than 2 hours to complete
  • Task reveals things that might otherwise be challenging to get to in an interview (eg understanding how the candidate thinks, how they demonstrate skills, empathy, etc)
  • Task is based on a real-world challenge, ideally drawing on an actual experience/challenge at the WMF

Thanks @ggellerman - I pinged @Spage about it this morning.

I'm going to tell Emily B we're ready to open the position by this afternoon, but the task must be finalized first. I let S know we'll be moving forward after lunchtime today but would value any feedback he might have before then.
