The feedback is posted as a ==Regular section heading== with normal, signed ~~~~ comments to a feedback page that is using LiquidThreads. It either needs to post correctly within LiquidThreads or it needs to post to a different page.
I don't think it is fair to merge this. Realistically, that LQT task is never going to get resolved. VE needs to either work around this, or stop using a LQT-based feedback page (which is a WMF config issue).
I disagree; the standard feedback form provided by Platform is what all feature teams are meant to use. The problem that it's particularly poor and needs fixing in various ways is something the Editing team have been (slowly) helping to improve. However, there are wider issues that are beyond our team and need specialists to fix. When all the LQT pages get converted to Flow, of course, the issue becomes the parallel T59989: S2. Flow API: Let code add a new topic with action=edit§ion=new.
