Table context indicator partially covers text in line above table
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

When you are editing a table in Visual Editor an arrow (in a light blue box) appears above the column that you are working in (when clicking on the box you can choose to add another column or remove the column). The problem is that the box currently covers around 30% of the line of text above the table.

@Jopparn: Thanks for taking the time to report this!

Could you please clarify how is that a problem, and what do you expect it to do instead?

This is fairly unavoidable when we draw contextual controls onto the edit surface. It happens with inspectors too (e.g. on links), but the idea is that the thing it blocks is not what you are editing at the moment. We have tried to make the table tools small, but any smaller and they'd be hard to click. The other options is to make more room for the tools, but that results page contents jumping around as you change your selection, which is a bad user experience.
