Alternative list by size of Wikipedia is here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/List_of_Wikipedias

If possible, can we show the language in this format: Local Language (English romanization), e.g. हिन्दी (Hindi)

Both wiki sources I provided show the language in both formats, so don't need another data source.

Patch-For-Review

I have created the list of languages and their associated "size" classifications here (this google doc is shared with Bryan and Niharika): https://docs.google.com/a/wikimedia.org/spreadsheets/d/1FDBQVWjxoapqGVdTlzsLHGyUTY04oiBCloGN7UNktt4/edit#gid=1844290077

Please note: I have added an option of: "I primarily/only contribute Commons, Species, Data, or Incubator, and therefore cannot pick a language community."

  • Please have this option shown first in the list; the rest of the list should be shown alphabetically.
  • This option has a "size" classification of "Multi-lingual" (so there are now 4 buckets in total).

Add a note to this question with the following text: If in the previous question, you selected Commons, Species, Data or Incubator as your most active Wikimedia project, please select in this question the option of: "I primarily/only contribute Commons, Species, Data, or Incubator, and therefore cannot pick a language community".

@NiharikaKohli Can you update the statement in the drop down menu to be: I selected as my "Most active Wikimedia project" Commons, Species, Data, Incubator, MediaWiki, or Tool Labs. Therefore I cannot pick a language community.

Per my previous comment, can you also add a note to this question with the following text: If in the previous question, you selected Commons, Species, Data, Incubator, MediaWiki or Tool Labs as your most active Wikimedia project, please select in the first option in the drop menu.
