I tried to reply to an email from T84818 (a task which I am allowed to get email updates from but not view via the web), but it returned this error (in a new thread, very annoyingly):

@jeremyb has proven in T84818#936727 that users with web access to a task can reply to it via email.
It makes sense that a user that cannot post a reply via web (because they cannot access the task) cannot reply via email either. The fact that someone can receive a notification that cannot access via web is an anomaly to be fixed with T518.
For these reasons I'm closing this task as Declined. Let's fix T518 instead.
