Opensearch API results containing pages that don't exist and apparently never existed
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

I was at https://fi.wikinews.org/wiki/Luokka:Kes%C3%A4olympialaiset_2008 and tried to connect it with en.wikinews's "Category:2008 Summer Olympics". I didn't know that there is no such a category on en.wikinews. Anyway, the suggester is suggesting that category from en.wikinews although the category doesn't exist.
After I click "Link with page" it says "The external client site 'enwikinews' did not provide page information for page 'Category:2008 Summer Olympics'."
It's also suggesting Category:Motor sport from en.wikinews which also doesn't exist.

On the console there was: "mw.Api error: " "no-external-page" Object { servedby: "mw1136", error: Object }

For some reason the opensearch API says that the category exists, although it apparently never did: https://en.wikinews.org/w/api.php?action=opensearch&search=Category%3A2008+Summer+Ol
