Should be possible to navigate between images on page

Description

In a bar I watched two people swipe left/right to toggle between images on mobile. It didn't work for them and caused them much confusion.

https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/182390 starts this but needs some more work. Someone should feel free to take over the patch if they want to. I doubt I will get round till at least next Monday.

Someone able to help get this patch merged? It's blocking some hygiene tasks which I'd rather not rewrite.
