Description

While adapting links, partial text from the source language text is being matched with existing unrelated links in the target. language

Steps to reproduce
Go to: http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Special:ContentTranslation?from=id&to=ms&page=Bahasa&targettitle=Bahasa

  1. In the 2nd paragraph, look for the text disandikan (it will be a blue link in the source)
  2. Check for the same word in the target column of the same section
  3. Select the text in the target column, then click on the text in the source column. This will add the corresponding link to the target text.

Expected behaviour
The source and target links should point to corresponding articles in the two languages

Actual behaviour
The link adapted in step 3 is an incorrect match of http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kode and points to http://ms.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandi which is a partial selection of the original text 'disandikan'

OK, I investigated it.

It's not partial - "sandi" is the link target ("di-" is the prefix and "-kan" is the ending). In Indonesian it redirects to "Kode", so the card from Indonesian wiki is shown correctly. This article doesn't have a corresponding page in Malay.

Now the question is what should be added there? I would say - nothing, because there is no corresponding page.

What happens now is that "Sandi" is added. It happens to be a name of an existing article in Malay, but it's random and shouldn't be added.

So basically, until we have smart red links handling, we shouldn't add anything at all there, and not "Sandi" either.
