Consider using [[Category:Wikipedia articles needing clarification]] instead of [[Category:All Wikipedia articles needing clarification]] for GettingStarted suggestions
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Currently the extension uses the item Q8235653 (Category:All Wikipedia articles needing clarification) for the "clarify" tasks. However, this is linked to only 4 wikis, while Q8109451 (Category:Wikipedia articles needing clarification) is linked to 14 wikis, including enwiki and ptwiki (this one was my motivation for this report).

Maybe the item should be updated to the one which is useful in more wikis?

We don't actually use any of the types except 'copyedit' anymore. That's an old version (latest is here). Hence, declining this.

Also, with the way it's currently implemented, I believe the page must be a direct child of the category. You'll note that e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Wikipedia_articles_needing_clarification only has one direct child (every thing else is in dated subcategories, which won't work).

I think there are some exceptions that don't match the Wikidata, which may (it's been a while, so I'm not positive) be because the Wikidata entries are not consistent about whether linked categories hold "All articles" or "Dated subcategories".
