I need a direct download link for the video and you need to provide the wikitext for the file description page (best practice is to put these files like FileName.ogv (the video) FileName.ogv.txt (the description) into a single archive, for example a zip).

Also I need to know which user to upload the file as if that should be different from the user you have linked with your phabricator account.

Will work on all that and send you link when ready. Thanks

I've got the file at http://tools.wikimedia.pl/~odder/phab/ so what this needs is a file description and a username to use.

Hi, Thanks. I think this request can be closed now. I'm no longer getting them onto Commons. the videos will be on YouTube.

@Nkansahrexford: May I ask why?

I realized uploading to Youtube was an easier and faster way to work for me. YouTube has CC too, so was just convenient.

I used the video convert tool on wmflabs to upload to Commons. It worked but was about 70% slower than uploading to YouTube.

Plus, I realized it wasn't 'right' for an admin to help me get mere 100+ megabyte video onto a website, Commons. We're in 2015, not 1995.
