I am not able to download the PDF from here [1]. I'm getting the following error message:

Generation of the document file has failed.

Status: Rendering process died with non zero code: 8

  1. I go to https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:MediaWiki_Developer%27s_Guide
  2. In the ombox table [sic] I see those links offered:

[ PDF ] [ epub ] [ ODT ] [ ZIM ]
[ Open in Book Creator ] [ Order Printed Book ]

  1. I click the PDF link.
  2. I get "Rendering finished" with a "Download the file" link.
  3. I click the link and get a 168 pages PDF.

The PDF content certainly as issues (e.g. some headings have "[edit]" attached as a suffix, but I cannot reproduce the original problem here.

Can someone else still reproduce this? Or are my steps wrong?

@MadCoderQiang: This is an open bug report. Hence there is no fix/solution yet.

In the Linux system also has the corresponding error

As is shown in the figure, this error.

Don't know where the problem is.

To seventy-five percent, this error occurs!

As already announced in Tech News, OfflineContentGenerator (OCG) will not be used anymore after October 1st, 2017 on Wikimedia sites. OCG will be replaced by Electron. You can read more on mediawiki.org.
