Hi @Krassotkin.

Does anything appear in your browser's JavaScript console when loading the page?
Could you please run the upload wizard with the debug option enabled: Just add "?debug=true" at the end of the web address (after "Special:UploadWizard") and then reload the page.
Is this problem reproducible?
Which version of MediaWiki and UploadWizard did you install in your instance, or is this about some Wikimedia site like Commons?

Step by step....

Hi @Krassotkin.

Does anything appear in your browser's JavaScript console when loading the page?

  1. After open page https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:UploadWizard FireBug write in console:

Hi @Krassotkin.

Is this problem reproducible?

Yes.

Could you please run the upload wizard with the debug option enabled: Just add "?debug=true" at the end of the web address (after "Special:UploadWizard") and then reload the page.

  1. After open page https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:UploadWizard?debug=true FireBug write in console:

NS_ERROR_FILE_CORRUPTED: (https://bits.wikimedia.org/static-1.25wmf15/extensions/CentralAuth/modules/ext.centralauth.centralautologin.clearcookie.js)

localStorage.removeItem( 'CentralAuthAnon' );

mw.FirefoggHandler::start> Upload start! (no error, message only; https://bits.wikimedia.org/commons.wikimedia.org/load.php?debug=true&lang=en&modules=jquery%2Cmediawiki&only=scripts&skin=vector&version=20150205T174926Z; line 12929)

  1. After wrong upload only:

POST https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/api.php 1m 29s (https://bits.wikimedia.org/static-1.25wmf15/extensions/UploadWizard/resources/mw.FormDataTransport.js; line 121)

...

Which version of MediaWiki and UploadWizard did you install in your instance, or is this about some Wikimedia site like Commons?

Wikimedia Commons.

FYI this is being tracked (with maybe more information) in T89018

In our case, it happens in other browsers (Google Chrome) and with other file types (webm). It seems like a common problem for large files.

Is this a duplicate then? NS_ERROR_FILE_CORRUPTED seems like an unrelated issue with the mw.loader.store.
