After moving an recent article in other namespace, it still appear in Special:NewPages
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

I noticed following bug: if you create a page in main namespace (an article), then move it in other namespace (for example "Template"), this page still appear further in [[Special:NewPages]] (even it's set to show only articles).

12 hours ago (on certain wikipedia) i created with via robot ~14 templates with wrong prefix for namespace, then i corrected titles moving pages in correct Template namespace without leaving redirects. Even now these pages are in Special:NewPages.

Was the move with redirect or with suppression of the redirect. When with redirect, was the redirect page deleted in the meantime?
Newly created moved pages are shown on Special:NewPages with a hint behind it (originally created as "??"), but there are still visible in the created namespace.

The move was without leaving redirect in place. Sure, there was a hint "originally created as ...". But anyway this is a bug - there is no sense to keep all these pages in NewPages feed (in articles log).
