Yeah, the "hyphen" character isn't in the mlwiki font. I think ml doesn't actually use hyphens, and I should just suppress them?

No, actually we use hyphen. However it is not uncommon that splitting the word without the use of hyphen. I'll try to get more opinions soon.

From our google+ and mailing list discussions and other follow ups: Hyphen doesn't use as a connector as used here. However hyphen often use for other purposes. In this same page hyphen used many times by the writer himself. So please don't supress hyphen completely from the pdf, but remove that from split words.
