We're making a new OpenStreetMap project from scratch, or what? What is mobile doing that relates to OSM?

Mobile is dedicating two fulltimers, myself & Max. Lets get this baby launched! ))

@Yurik: That's not helpful. Why is this called "OpenStreetMap" and not Wikimedia-OpenStreetMap-Mirror or something?

@Krenair, because its a short name. We could have called it "mirroring-open-street-maps-attempt-#4" (might be 5 or 6 by now), or we could have called it OSM, which is also accurate. OpenStreetMaps is short enough imho. Important thing is for it to be easily findable when entering issues, nothing more. For everything else, there is description field )

Except it's empty...

#OpenStreetMap-Mirror with an #OSM-Mirror additional hashtag looks like a good solution.

Project description required (and link to project page if existing). Please add.
Phabricator is a public place and this project is currently not self-explaining.

Also wondering how this is related to the five tickets in https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/maniphest/query/0qrurX.7Wu2a/#R

Do people still think it's important to rename this?

(Obviously, this is about installing/enhancing OSM software and cooperating with them, not building our own independent map.).

Similar to how we have a Jenkins tag.

That can be expressed by the project's description.
