We are thinking of making some changes to our TY letters, but gauging the worth of this work is largely contingent on whether or not people actually open the TY letters. We don't get that many responses in Zendesk compared to the # of donations, so we can't tell from there how many people are reading the emails.
Is Civi tracking open rates anywhere? And if not, could it?
Just talked to Adam, short answer is that we're not tracking and it would be a pretty significant effort to do so, possibly requiring moving to silverpop to send TYs, too. We can't estimate that without at least some preliminary digging. If you want us to look into this more, let me know. Otherwise go ahead and close the task.
